San Diego Day

We are off to San Diego! Known as "America's Finest City". The second most populated city in California and well known for it's sunny weather, beautiful beaches, golfing, Seaworld, Mission Bay, and Navy bases. But first we will experience the awesome history of Mission San Juan Capistrano. http://www.missionsjc.com/ . The birthplace of Orange County, now over 200 years old, is still home to the returning Cliff Sparrows, the tiny birds that find their way back from Argentina each spring. Also a popular backdrop for many Hollywood films dating back to 1910.

From here we adventure south on the California coastline pausing along the way for a breathtaking view of the Pacific Ocean.
Once we arrive in the "Gaslamp" District of San Diego- http://www.gothere.com/sandiego/gaslamp.htm -we can lunch and experience the many flavors offered here.
After lunch our VIP guests will be offered a real touring adventure. See the Historic Heart of San Diego aboard the "bike of the future"- a Segway Personal Transporter- http://anothersideofsandiegotours.com/i-366725-the-gaslamp-segway-tour.html. A delightful 2 hour tour that includes a quick instructional followed by touring the Old GasLamp District, view the Victorian-era architecture, cruise along the Embarcadero, and glide up the hills with ease to beautiful Balboa Park. All of this and more on our incredible journey through Americas Finest City.
Our return to Orange County will take us through Poway, Escondido and Vista before re-joining the I-5 north to Orange County.  Time permitting we may stop in at Cooks Corners and cruise through the Canyon area on the way home.
