California Dreamin' - Final Day

The final day of the California Dreamin' VIP Tour will have plenty of Horsepower and Fun. We begin with a crisp morning ride up the Orange freeway a short distance to Brea, California.

This day we explore to the east of the greater metropolitan areas of Los Angeles and Orange Counties.  Our journey will take us into the incredible California Desert!

Hollywood

The California Dreamin' VIP Tour has been designed to include the very best of what Southern California has to offer.

It will be a Sunday in Southern California for this day. A cherished day of the week that will find scores of riders out exploring the highways.

Julian Day

This day of the California Dreamin' VIP Tour will take out and away from the busy cities via Santiago Canyon and into the Cleveland National Forest. We can pause at Cooks Corner- http://www.cookscorners.com/ - for a cup of coffee before rolling through the awesome area known as Live Oak Canyon. Here the ride seems almost like a fantasy as the mighty oak trees create a full canopy overhead leaving us on a tunnel-like ribbon of asphalt.

San Diego Day

We are off to San Diego! Known as "America's Finest City". The second most populated city in California and well known for it's sunny weather, beautiful beaches, golfing, Seaworld, Mission Bay, and Navy bases. But first we will experience the awesome history of Mission San Juan Capistrano. http://www.missionsjc.com/ . The birthplace of Orange County,now over 200 years old, is still home to the returning Cliff Sparrows, the tiny birds that find their way back from Argentina each spring. Also a popular backdrop for many Hollywood films dating back to 1910.

The Angeles Crest Scenic Byway

The Angeles Crest Highway is listed among "California's Best Riding Roads"- This famous stretch of asphalt has been a favorite ride for bike and hot rod enthusiasts for over 50 years.

From our very exclusive home base in Buena Park this days ride will first take us to beautiful outer Orange County and to a very popular local riding area- Santiago Canyon. You will see for yourself why the local riders can't get enough of this beautiful area located out  and away from the city. We ride through beautiful Limestone Canyon Park and Whiting Ranch Wilderness Park as we wind our way down the road and end up at  Cook's Corner! -http://www.cookscorners.com/- Undeniably the #1 Biker hot spot in Orange County! On week ends it's hard to find a place to even park you motorcycle here!

31. mars 2012 besøker vi det berømte voksmuseet til Madame Tussauds i Hollywood. Vår guide Scratch har selvfølgelig sjekket ut at dette blir en bra plass å besøke.

California Dreamin' turen

De to første og den siste natten bor vi på DoubleTree by Hilton i nærheten av flyplassen i Los Angeles. Hotellet ligger flott plassert i nærheten av et stort handlesenter og Santa Monica Pier. Det er tre minutter å gå til Albertson's, der man kan handle alt av drikke og matvarer.

California Dreamin' - Ny tur påsken 2012

Vær med på en spesiell tur i påsken 2012, perioden 30. mars tom 8. april (hjemme i Norge 9. april). Vi vil ha fast tilholdssted på et hotell nær Disneyland i Orange, Scratch og Wink vil organisere dagsturer med dette som utgangspunkt. Det er fantastisk flotte motorsykkelveier i området rundt Orange, blant andre Ortega Highway med den berømte bikerbaren Outlook. Scratch og Wink er lommekjent og vil vise dere veier og steder slik ingen andre kan. Vi besøker flere berømte motorsykkel og hotrod byggere. Vi besøker også Pam og Scratch for en liten grillaften.
